2014: I decided not to have a planner this year =)

Because:
  • My pre-quarter life crisis is on a roll for a quite sometime now and I can't afford to waste any more time planning. (since that's what planners are for)
  • A journal seems more suitable to me. (since diaries are long gone in my vocabulary)
  • I wanna live the moment, literally. I don't wanna worry about what might happen next. (just for now, for a year)
  • Making plans and sticking to it is worsening my OCD tendencies (I don't wanna end up saying "I can't live without my planner!")
  • JUST BECAUSE. OKAY?
So there, I've made my point (points?). I want this year to be a little different, in a way. There are a lot of things going on my head and if I ignore them, I might lost my thoughts and become a slave of this crippling world because of my own doing. Did I make any sense? Oh well, I am not sure either.

Just let me be and we'll see how it goes. Ciao!

Festivities!

It's been a while since I went to a festival, a real one. Not just a simple town fiesta in the suburbs, but such celebrations that are quite popular. It's nothing related to religion of any sorts. I just wanted something to look forward to every month, not that I have nothing to look forward to. Just because, okay? Do I really need to have concrete reasons?

Oh well, forget the reasons. Here are the list of the festivities I wanted to go to this year. I may have gone to some, but I have not gone to most of them.

Brace Yourself for the New Year!

2012—year of the Black Water Dragon, as the Chinese would say. But hey! I am no Chinese, so I am not going to talk about that. I’m here to share my goals for this year. Yes, you've read that right... GOALS.

Last year, I made this list of resolutions which was divided into 2—the seemingly achievable and the unachievable ones. But as usual, I achieved none of it really. So, I have decided that I have to make goals instead of resolutions. It may be somehow the same but goals seem to be more encouraging.

So here are my goals for 2012. And don’t expect a long list anymore.

Holidays 2011

I did not have quite the best holiday so far, but I am still thankful that I was able to spend the holidays with utmost happiness and contentment at heart somehow. Let me share to you a summary of 'My Holidays 2011 in pictures'.

Since I wasn't able to book a ticket home for Christmas eve, I decided to spend the 24th with my pals from the office. We went straight to Seafood Island after work and headed to Moose Grill after learning that we ran out of beer already. Talk about being alcoholics (and I am so not).

'Twas a Beery Christmas after all.

Great Gatsby: The Roaring 20's

December 15th was the date of our company Christmas party themed, Great Gatsby: The Roaring 20's. It was held in Wack-wack Country Club, Mandaluyong City.

Well, as always predicted, I was fashionably late for the party. But I wasn't alone this time because my dear friend Sabrina gave me a ride, thus we were both late. When we arrived at the venue, the party has already started and everyone was almost finished with their food. Good thing we arrived just in time for our performance (our department let's newbies perform in a competition during the party). Since I do not have a cam anymore (thanks to the robber who took it months ago), I only relied to those who brought theirs. So, here are just a few photos I got from my friends. Haha!

Welcome!
