2014: I decided not to have a planner this year =)

Because:
  • My pre-quarter life crisis is on a roll for a quite sometime now and I can't afford to waste any more time planning. (since that's what planners are for)
  • A journal seems more suitable to me. (since diaries are long gone in my vocabulary)
  • I wanna live the moment, literally. I don't wanna worry about what might happen next. (just for now, for a year)
  • Making plans and sticking to it is worsening my OCD tendencies (I don't wanna end up saying "I can't live without my planner!")
  • JUST BECAUSE. OKAY?
So there, I've made my point (points?). I want this year to be a little different, in a way. There are a lot of things going on my head and if I ignore them, I might lost my thoughts and become a slave of this crippling world because of my own doing. Did I make any sense? Oh well, I am not sure either.

Just let me be and we'll see how it goes. Ciao!

Brace Yourself for the New Year!

2012—year of the Black Water Dragon, as the Chinese would say. But hey! I am no Chinese, so I am not going to talk about that. I’m here to share my goals for this year. Yes, you've read that right... GOALS.

Last year, I made this list of resolutions which was divided into 2—the seemingly achievable and the unachievable ones. But as usual, I achieved none of it really. So, I have decided that I have to make goals instead of resolutions. It may be somehow the same but goals seem to be more encouraging.

So here are my goals for 2012. And don’t expect a long list anymore.

A Short Break

I just had my shortest vacation ever that fell on a loooong weekend.

Oct 29 - My flight bound to Bacolod was at 10:05 AM. I didn't know what happened, but despite of several reminders that I need to be at the airport earlier since a lot of people are going home, I left my apartment around 9:15 AM. My cousin (who is also my housemate) is the one getting more nervous than I am. She keeps sending me BBM asking if I missed my flight or not.

On Being Free and Indepedent

At an early age of 22, I can honestly say I am very much free and independent. Yes, I believe I am. Not convinced yet? Let me share to you a few things:

I am free and independent because:

When I get sick...

I know, it's been a while again since I last blogged. Pardon the laziness. Anyway, I just wanted to blog about how my folks take care of me whenever I get sick, coz currently I am. My all-time nemesis strikes again, and asthma is the name.

I've been living away from home for a quite sometime now. FYI: I'm no runaway kid. I just chose to venture into a different place where I can exercise my freedom and independence. I can honestly admit that even at the age of 20, I was still very dependent to most of the people around me. But guess what? Not anymore.

Just Saying

Every time something not so good happens to me, I do away with blogging because I don't wanna post rants and complaints as much as possible. But please spare me this post, and allow me to say a few things.

Super Late Mid-year Update

I know, I haven't been blogging for ages. It's just that I think I have this what you call a bloglife crisis (or does it even exist? LOL), or whatever you may wanna call it. I am also super busy though I always have time to surf the net (but of course!), I can't seem to find ample time to blog. And there are some instances when I had the chance to write, my mind would suddenly go blank. Am I getting old, or something? Anyway, to fill in the great hole in my blog, allow me to refresh it by sharing the update for my New Year's Resolutions.

30-Day Challenge: Day 1

Introduce yourself, post a recent picture and state 15 interesting facts.

My Name is Mary Joan Corazon Panoncillon Encabo. That was long. Hence, I preferred being called with my birth nickname, Mai2 or just plain Mai. A few others would rather call me Mayet, Mayot, Maying, Yamz, Yamzie, Yamitah, Yamie, My Girl and Siomai. 21 years old by age, 16 years old by looks. Currently employed as a Regulatory Pharmacist and is living on my own in the suburbs of Makati.

This picture was taken at MOA
on the 27th of Feb with friends
(Who were obviously cropped.
Sorry Ren and Aiks! Hehe =D

Reposted/Edited

I just had my period. And I really am not happy every time it visits. So, let me share to you an edited post.

Sometimes I really hate my girly parts.
And if you’re a girl (or if you, at least, have had the misfortune of living with a bunch of girls) you’ll understand what I mean when I say that sometimes I just want to rip my uterus out and declare myself asexual.
